homebody creative,
DIY everything,
aesthetic empath.
Hey, I’m Enya (yep, like the singer)!
I have been a visual communicator for as long as I know. Shapes, colours, and patterns are my dominant language. Font choice expresses more to me than the actual words. Despite all this, I spent most of my years of education planning for a “real” career as a nutritionist. It wasn’t until the end of my first semester of university that I finally embraced the deep need to be creative, and in 2017 I received an advanced diploma with honours in Graphic Design from George Brown College (Toronto). My final thesis project was awarded Best Branding, and the rest is history.
Besides design, I love to sew, draw, and reorganize my apartment. In 2018, I learned to tattoo, and that has since become a real side hustle for me (check me out @pennypokes). In 2020, I launched an Etsy shop to sell my art on blankets, mugs and prints. Check it out here!
I have nearly a decade of design experience under my belt and have been fully freelance since 2018. I’ve partnered with incredible brands to bring visions to life in an authentic, lively, and lasting way.
