pennypokes is my tattoo practice. What began as casual doodling evolved into a distinct visual style, inspired by American traditional tattooing but filtered through a lens of playfulness, whimsy, and femininity. In 2018 I began learning to tattoo, and by 2020 I was taking clients at Nicerfolks in Toronto, where I am still a resident artist today.
Since then, the hobby has grown into a full professional practice, with over 250 tattoos completed to date. I maintain a rotating flash catalogue of around 150 designs, constantly evolving based on use, demand, and trends.
Alongside flash, I also take on custom requests, where clients bring a reference or idea, and I reinterpret it through my style.
